Cultural Values
Cultural values give importance to preserving cultural practices, ceremonies, traditions and ways of life which might be threatened by the materialist culture of modern times. They maintain the integrity of language, behaviour and traditional rites, such as marriages or funerals. They cover art, music, literature and architecture in a general way, and at the same time dictate matters of taste, dress, hospitality, codes of conduct and protocol for ceremonies, festivals and honoured guests.
