The Natural Way of Life
Usually we strive to find and understand peace and harmony by observing the natural environment of matter. For example, the tranquility of nature appeals to the vague recollection of the original nature of peace, which lies in the subconscious.
Through contact and relationship with God the veneer of falseness built up over many births is stripped away. Though we have bodies of different colour, size, age, sex, (having identified with these only, ignorant about the soul's origin etc. caused that falseness mixed into human nature) we have to look at each other as souls and understand the needs of not only these bodies but also the needs of the souls who are acting thru their bodies in the drama of life with each other, with other species and with the elements of matter. So, without including this aspect, all striving for excellence is incomplete.
The Steps Required to Return to The Perfect Natural State:
1 step: To take towards perfection is:
To gain knowledge of the true self and the self of the Supreme Being as well as our true relationships with him. We thus come out of the whirlpool of the vices like lust, anger, ego, greed and attachment.
2 step: The conquest of the senses
Sense gratification prevents me to work in the region where spirituality is effective. The senses collectively disconnect the intellect from god. The mind can only be truly concentrated on god when it is beyond the pull of the senses.
3 step: To conquest the vices
It is better that we do not deal with each vice individually. As the soul fills itself with power its all over condition automatically improves. If we learn to transform these vices into our friends they can help us. The soul learns to transfer such energies like
- Anger into --> tolerance
- Greed into --> contentment
- Lust (Kama) into --> desires for world benefit
- Arrogance into --> spiritual or elevated self respect
It is necessary to understand and discard negativity. Just as darkness is absence of light, negativity, which manifests as vice is merely the absence of spiritual light. Negative forces do not stem from the real nature of the self. They are simply the symptoms of a lack of spiritual power. As spiritual power declines, vices appear. Conversely as the souls spiritual power increases thru yoga with the supreme, the vices disappear automatically.
4 step: To adopt divine virtues such as
- Tolerance
- Serenity
- Humility
- Compassion
- Generosity
Introversion, compassion, mercy, sweetness, cheerfulness, contentment, patience, fortitude, humility and tolerance are positive qualities. They are shock absorbers and insure a smooth + easy passage in life. The effort to be made is to acquire them by seeing and picking up only good in others, and on discarding the vices that have mixed into us we become our original form ad maintain it thru closeness to God. The root cause of all vices is body consciousness, which ……… and results in decline of spiritual power and this is manifested by the vices such as sensuality (Kama), anger etc.
By achieving this perfect state as per god's desires and directions, you will become a beautiful flower in the Garden of Eden also called the Garden of Allah, or Paradise on earth.
